Sweet Pea Refresh

Jessica Hersh is a chef and owner of Sweet Pea Cuisine in Boulder, Colorado. She has been providing personal chef services, classes, and catering for over 20 years. Her website was in need of an update and we thought a logo update might be in order as well.

The image of the peas was drawn by a dear friend back when she was starting her business so it was important to both of us to keep that image. I was able to vectorize the original drawing and clean it up a bit. Paired with some new fonts, it made for a sweet refresh of a beloved logo.

I was inspired by the colors of wild sweet pea plants, as well as the extremely colorful and delicious food that Jessica makes. I was particularly proud to help her showcase her focus on catering for special diets, as I have food sensitivities myself.
