AIGA 2018 AnNual Survey Demographics

This infographic was developed based on data gathered from the 2018 AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) Members’ Survey. With this infographic, I wanted to look at issues of gender, race, pay, and job satisfaction amongst AIGA members. For this project I had some wonderful assistance from my partner, who programed a custom search function so that I could cross match questions and extract specific percentages from the huge data set.

This project was developed to be used either digitally or physically. Panels were created to make sense either sequentially (in long landscape format) or stacked vertically.

The challenge here, as I feel is the challenge with all infographics, was to try to narrow down the amount of information presented, and design the layout in such a way as to be engaging but not overwhelming for the viewer.
